It collects kitchen-practice information about restaurants (shared fryers, dedicated prep areas, whether an allergen is handled on the premises at all), grades every fact by its evidence level, and matches it against your personal requirements. It also generates your chef card and a call script with the exact questions to ask any kitchen — those work offline, anywhere, from day one.
ClearKitchen never certifies a restaurant, dish, or kitchen as safe. It shows reported information with its source and date so you can make better-informed decisions. Menus, suppliers, staff, and practices change without notice. Always confirm directly with restaurant staff before ordering, every visit. ClearKitchen is not medical advice; your allergen precautions should come from your clinician. If you are at risk of anaphylaxis, carry your epinephrine and follow your emergency plan.

Where does the information come from?
Four places, always labeled: restaurant-confirmed answers (which expire and must be
reconfirmed), structured community reports from diners with your allergen, published
information like official allergen menus, and unverified signals — which are only ever
shown as warnings and questions to ask, never as reassurance.
Is safety information behind the paywall?
No, never. Warnings, conflicts, and every kitchen fact are free. Premium adds convenience:
match filters and sorting, family profiles, offline packs, verification alerts, and card
translations.
How do community reports work?
Reports are structured questionnaires, not star ratings. They're anonymous, reviewed
before publishing, and tagged with the reporter's allergen and severity level so you can
weigh reports from people whose stakes match yours.
